Creativity, diversity and communicating a love of music are at the core of Melissa Doecke’s artistic practise as a flute soloist, chamber musician and Co-Artistic Director of Inventi Ensemble. Her many achievements include being awarded the Melbourne Recital Centre’s Contemporary Masters Award, being a finalist in the Australian Young Performer Awards, performing at the BBC Proms and in recordings for BBC Radio 3 and BBC Television and myriad international recitals and performances. Her debut CD Melissa Doecke – Flute was released on the Master Performers label in 2013 and her second album Ulpirra Sonatines with esteemed composer/pianist Mark Isaacs was launched in February 2016 with a 10-concert tour of the east coast of Australia. Melissa is the flautist on Inventi Ensemble's debut album, with two more due for release in 2020. In demand as a teacher and educator, Melissa regularly gives masterclasses and coaching for students at all levels. She is also the flautist on the recordings of the AMEB Series 3 Flute Grade Books.
